Tavern tables were historically treated roughly. Durability was improved with the addition of crosspieces, called stretchers, between legs. This dining height leg looks great if you plan to build with, or without stretchers. The carved flutes add rich detail, visual interest and some formality to this leg design. Perfect for tables with top thicknesses in the¾" to 1" range. Unfinished, sanded with 180-grit paper. Choose your finish.
Our Large Fluted English Tavern Dining Table Leg is handsome (if we do say so ourselves!) and popular for larger tables and desks. The stretcher block above the foot is perfect for foot rails, stretchers and shelf supports.
Carved flutes add visual interest and a bit of formality to this dining height table leg design. The 3½" leg width goes great with table tops in the 1" thick range. All parts are unfinished, sanded with 180-grit paper. Choose your finish.
Very large scale dining height leg with excellent and rich detailing. Stretcher block above the foot is perfect for foot rail joinery. 4½" width goes great with massive tables and tops 1¼" thick and above. Carved fluting lends visual interest and formality to the design. Unfinished, sanded with 180-grit paper. Choose your finish.
NOTE: Always prepare your components properly: Before using paint, stain or varnish with your project, carefully inspect each component and prepare it to achieve the desired outcome.
Need more than table legs? Upgrade to a table base, add a solid hardwood table top, or buy as a complete finished or unfinished table.
